The first Indian Conference on Micro nano fluidics (ICOM) will be held at IIT Madras, India during Sep 29 to Oct 1, 2023. The conference will provide academic researchers and industry professionals working on micro nano fluidics within the country and around the world a platform to discuss some of the most recent research findings and exchange ideas on some of the field's emerging topics. The conference will also attempt to examine current challenges and open questions and identify impactful research problems through a panel discussion session that will result in a roadmap for future research. The conference will provide a platform for showcasing the research accomplishments of research groups from India and around the world in the area of micro nano fluidics to a sizable international audience including some of the internationally acclaimed researchers. The conference will foster networking among researchers within the country, invited speakers, and international participants leading to academic collaborations in the form of joint degree programs, student exchange, faculty mobility, and joint research proposals. Further, it will also facilitate interaction between start-ups and academic researchers in the field which may result in future collaborations. ICOM 2023 will be the inaugural Indian Conference which will then be hosted by various institutes around the nation biennially.
